Considering that the Robe of Masked Wisdom is using an older frame/template, LOTRO have done really well to make it unique for the 2024 Fall Festival.
In tasteful charcoal greys, this full-length robe has inferences of feathers, in keeping with the owl-inspired Wisdom's Mask. You'll also notice the lack of a cloak for this year's event - and I think for a very good reason. The back of the robe is something worth looking at while you're questing, interacting with vendors or chatting.
How Well Does the Robe of Masked Wisdom Dye?
Incredibly well. The only consideration for your outfit creations is that the dyes appear slightly deeper/darker. Here are some colours, along with a preview of that back artwork in Steel Blue:
Red/Crimson
As I wanted to show a variety of colours, I didn't upload both red and crimson. But here, the Red Dye
appears closer to Crimson.
Personally, I like the deeper colours. But if you're trying to exactly-match the tone for an outfit, it'll take a bit of tinkering to find pieces with the same slight colour modification.
