I am pleased to see that the Fine Boots of the Potato Farmer buck two recent-ish patterns: firstly that boots have been provided and secondly that they are dyable. And I mean more than just the trim. Hurrah. Let's look.
Boots of the Potato Farmer Description
Rightfully rough-and-ready, LOTRO have still managed to get an element of style into these workboots. They have sturdy (and shiny!) soles and slightly crumpled leather 'shoe' section.
From the ankle to the knee is the 2024 signature chequered pattern, made in two pieces. These must be sewn together as there's on obvious clasp, but they form a rather elegant point as they fold over.
Yes, these Boots were Made for Dyin'
No, not for dying in. I mean, I won't stop you, but that's not what makes them interesting to you. I hope.
What I mean is that dyes affect the whole boot. Well, except the leather bit, but I think leaving a bit that's not turquoise is pretty reasonable.
