This Cobweb Hat is...huge. I mean it's like a Halloween version of Ascot huge. It'll be interesting going through the Haunted Burrow if multiple people have this on, that's for sure.

Cobweb Hat Description

But, to be fair, it is definitely a webby hat - a witch or like stereotypical fantasy dark mage hat. We haven't had one of those since the Cowl and Hat of the Autumn Sage.

The webs are more than just the texture here. LOTRO have put them under the rim of the hat actually on a transparent background like real webs. This is pretty neat if you're one of those who really enjoys the Spooky Season.

From Different Angles

The images below are from LOTRO's official page (see hereExternal Link (Opens in New Window/Tab)), but let you see what the hat looks like from other angles.

I have, however, tried to balance the colours, so you can see it as though under "white light" instead of the yellow-y candle light of the haunted burrow.

Can You Dye the Cobweb Hat?

Only the buckled ribbon on the pointy bit can be dyed. As with the Cobweb Robe, no spiders create rainbow webs. Which is a shame, really. It probably undermines their "evil credentials" if they stray from greyscale.

This cobweb-covered hat but with red dye - where the buckled 'ribbon' is the only thing that takes the dye. But it may be the only thing that needs to.
