The LOTRO Apple-picker's Dress is one of those I look at and wonder "how did they manage that?".
By that, I mean they've managed to create a dress that seems home-stitched and practical, yet leaves me liking the style at the same time.
Description
The upper-body section is mostly different to the lower-body one. Overlaying a white under-top, a vibrant (but not over-bright) green appears tightly woven and features flowers and, of course, apples. Just don't tell Bingo Boffin (he hates apples).
Its seams are a common edge stitch (I'm a bloke who mends my family's clothes), but I think that adds to the look. The shoulderpads could either be intentional, or patched from pulled stitches. Either way, they're the same material as the lower-sleeve and work really well.
The lower half is a simple, long skirt (aren't we allowed knee-length skirts without leggings? It is Summer). A near-white material has simple green lines, creating a checkered-like pattern.
How to Get the Apple-picker's Dress
It is exclusively available during the in-game Farmers Faire Guide →">Farmers Faire event, which is usually held from mid-August.
How Well Does It Dye?
Very well, in my opinion. Your dye of choice replaces all places where you can see the base green, including the cross-hatching on the skirt:
